Overview

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.

The Coast Mountain PCN team is working with local clinics to help connect people to a primary care provider, either a family doctor or nurse practitioner. This includes people living in the following communities:

  • Atlin
  • Dease Lake
  • Gitanyow
  • Kitselas First Nation
  • Kitsumkalum First Nation
  • Kitwanga
  • Lakelse
  • Nass Valley
  • Stewart
  • Telegraph Creek (Tahltan Nation)
  • Terrace
  • Thornhill

Additional health resources for Nisga'a Nation

Members of the Nisga'a Nation can access additional resources through the Nisga’a Valley Health Authority (NVHA). NVHA is committed to improving the health of the Nisga’as people, communities and Nation. The NVHA is comprised of four health centers located in each of the Nisga’a communities in the Nass Valley.
