Mackenzie Primary Care Network

Mackenzie is situated on treaty lands that have been lived on and cared for by generations of the Mississaugas of the Credit. It is the traditional territory of other First Nations including the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat. This land is currently home to many First Nations, Métis and Inuit people today. We are grateful for the opportunity to deliver primary care to patients in this territory.

Overview

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.

Mackenzie PCN and the Northern Interior Rural Division of Family Practice teams are working with local clinics to help connect people to a primary care provider, either a family doctor or nurse practitioner. This includes people living in and around Mackenzie and the Nechako Community Health Services Area.
