Fraser Health Authority - Mental Health and Substance Use

The Fraser Health Authority delivers a range of health care services to more than 1.8 million people living in the communities of Burnaby, New Westminster, Delta, Surrey, White Rock, Port Moody, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge, Langley, Mission, Abbotsford, Chilliwack, District of Kent, Harrison Hot Springs, and the Fraser Canyon (Hope).

The Fraser Health Authority – Mental Health and Substance Use makes it easier for British Columbians who live in a Fraser Health Authority community to find support and information about mental health and substance use services they need, for themselves or their loved ones. Find information on emergency and non-emergency help, treatment options, peer and family support, the mental health act, screening self-tests, treatment and care options, medications and mental wellness. You can also find the following:

  • Child and youth mental health resources provides information on signs and symptoms of mental health problems in children and youth and finding mental health services and resources for children and youth
  • Substance use in children and youth provides information on substance use in child or youth, and information on substance use services for children and youth
  • Mental Health and Substance Use Centres provide support to adults (19 years and older) experiencing mental illness, and substance use issues. Contact the Mental Health Centre in your community for further information on the services and supports available
  • Substance Use (Addictions) Services provide information on substance use; where to get help; adult, Indigenous and youth substance use services; harm reduction and cross-cultural resources
