Northern Health Authority – Mental Health and Addiction Services

The Northern Health Authority provides health services to 300,000 people over an area of 600,000 square kilometers in the province of British Columbia. The Northern Health Authority begins in the areas south of Kitimat, Quesnel, Wells, Valemount and covers up to the British Columbia border with the Yukon and Northwest Territories and across to the Alberta and Alaskan borders; and the Queen Charlotte Islands.

Northern Health: Mental Health & Substance Use provides a wide range of programs and services to assist persons experiencing difficulties with mental health or substance use. Each program is aimed to restore, promote, and maintain well-being. Programs are generally structured to the needs of each person through all stages of life, including youth, adult and the elderly.
