Cancer and physical activity
There is compelling evidence that regular physical activity is beneficial for the prevention of several cancers, including breast, colon and bladder cancers. Being physically active before, during and/or after cancer treatment can counteract the adverse side effects of cancer and its treatment (such as reducing cancer-related fatigue) and decrease the risk of developing new cancers and health conditions (such as heart disease and osteoporosis).
