Last updated

Burns Lake is located on the traditional territory of 6 First Nations: Skin Tyee Nation, Nee Tahi Buhn, Cheslatta Carrier Nation, Lake Babine Nation, Wet’suwet’en First Nation, and Ts’il Kaz Koh.

Overview

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.

The Northern Interior Rural PCN is a collaborative partnership between Northern Health, First Nations Health Authority, Carrier Sekani Family Services, Northern Interior Rural Division of Family Practice and the Ministry of Health. Together we work with local clinics to help connect people living in or near Burns Lake, Skin Tyee First Nation, Nee Tahi Buhn First Nation, Cheslatta Carrier Nation, Wet'suwet'en First Nation, Lake Babine Nation and Ts'il Kaz Koh, Grassy Plains, and Granisle to a primary care provider (either a family doctor or nurse practitioner).

Find a family doctor or nurse practitioner

If you need a primary care provider, register on the Health Connect Registry to get matched with a family doctor or nurse practitioner in your community.
