We acknowledge that the District of Saanich lies within the territories of the lək ̓ ʷəŋən peoples represented by the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations and the W̱ SÁNEĆ peoples represented by the W̱ JOȽEȽP (Tsartlip), BOḰEĆEN (Pauquachin), SȾÁUTW̱ (Tsawout), W̱ SIḴEM (Tseycum) and MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat) Nations.

Overview

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.

The Saanich Peninsula Primary Care Network (PCN) team is working with local clinics to help connect people to a primary care provider, either a family doctor or nurse practitioner. This includes people living in the following communities:

  • Royal Oak
  • Cordova Bay
  • Prospect Lake
  • Brentwood Bay
  • Central Saanich
  • North Saanich

Pharmacists are an important part of your health care team and offer a variety of services. They are able to assess and prescribe for 21 minor ailments, prescribe contraceptives, renew prescriptions, and give vaccines.
