Sunshine Coast Primary Care Network

Last updated

The Sunshine Coast region is home to the traditional, unceded and ancestral territories of the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh, Úxwumixw, shíshálh, Tla’amin, Klahoose, and Homalco Nations. We honour the Indigenous peoples in British Columbia and the Sunshine Coast as the knowledge keepers of this beautiful land and its inhabitants.

Overview

A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.

The Sunshine Coast Primary Care Network is working with doctors, clinicians and allied health groups, program administrators, community agencies and Vancouver Coastal Health Authority to support the primary healthcare needs of people living on the Sunshine Coast in these communities:

  • Gibsons
  • Madeira Park

Find a family doctor or nurse practitioner

The Sunshine Coast is actively recruiting doctors and nurse practitioners to ensure residents have access to healthcare. The Health Connect Registry is the primary tool used by healthcare providers to add patients to their practice. Wait times will vary based on each doctor and nurse practitioner's capacity.
