In Maple Ridge, the Ridge Meadows Primary Care Network provides its services within the traditional, ancestral and unceded shared territories of the q̓ic̓əy̓ (Katzie) [kut-zee] and q̓ʷɑ:n̓ƛ̓ən̓ [Kwant-len] First Nations and home of the Golden Ears Métis Society.
Overview
A Primary Care Network (PCN) is a community-based network of health care professionals and clinics who plan and deliver the health care needs of a community.
The Ridge Meadows Primary Care Network team is working with local clinics to help connect people to a primary care provider, either a family doctor or nurse practitioner. This includes people living in the following communities:
- Maple Ridge
- Ridge Meadows
- Pitt Meadows
- Katzie First Nation

Pharmacists are an important part of your health care team and offer a variety of services. They are able to assess and prescribe for 21 minor ailments, prescribe contraceptives, renew prescriptions, and give vaccines.
